People usually ask...

Why is New York essential plan's premium is $0?

The plan is heavily subsidized by both federal and state funds. These subsidies are designed to make healthcare affordable for low- and moderate-income of New York residents.

Will this affect my student visa?

" No. Enrolling in Qualified Health Plans, the Essential Plan or Child Health Plus WON'T impact a student visa application. In fact, under the ACA, student visa holders should enroll in health insurance because they may be liable for a federal tax penalty under the ACA if they do not have insurance."

I had called up to navigate through the website, and I was really happy with the service. Hope to see the continuing support.

I will highly recommend this insurance to any international student in New York State. So far, the best and fastest health insurance broker.

The overall experience is really good. They assisted me with all the questions I have and that's really nice of them.

Thanks to PSI I was able to benefit from an excellent service that made me save money and time. The website is user-friendly and it was easy for me to navigate through the different health insurance options. Moreover, the customer service was always timely prompt in answering my questions and accommodating my requests.

PSI is a great choice for insurance service! I have chosen PSI for two years and found their services are very nice! Based on the experience that I had from other company's customer services, I thought the reply might not be so quickly, maybe the next day. But after 3 minutes, I got reply from PSI Team and their answers were really clear and had detailed guidance.

I’m very satisfied with the service they provide. When I want to change my coverage they helped me as quick as possible, and were very polite. Overall, I am satisfied with PSI’s services.
